17 Years since i held your little hand, heard your voice,cuddled you, the list goes on...
This year has been incredibly hard at times as you would of been celebrating your 21st! And watching my little nieces & nephews play,run, laugh, giggle watch school plays... Brings such joy, yet such pain as i wish you where here playing too...
Leon i love you so much and will always remember you with love in my heart. I promise to never grow bitter because you are not here. I thank god for each and everyday that we shared, you gave me enough love to last me a life time.
Your name will live on in the work we do for Cry. Helping to save lives, raising awareness,fundraising, researching and doing our best to reduce the number of Sudden Cardiac Death.
We are holding another screening 29/10/2016 at Redcar. 100 young adults will be screened in memory of Ian Bowen & Leon Ashley Manners.
Although we did not have the chance to save your life we will strive to save other lives be cause no one should have to bury their child.
I will be holding a light a candle night for your family and donations will fund the screening.
Until we meet again, I will forever carry you with me in my heart. xx
